In order to sustain the practice of patient care with the style and quality intended, Dr. Bensimhon carries “out of network’ status for all insurance plans. As a result, unless alternate arrangements have made prior to the appointment, payment in full is expected when services are rendered.
An itemized statement including all information necessary for insurance filing will be provided after each visit.
An initial evaluation generally involves 2-4 parts, with in-office appointment times totaling, most often, to about 4 hours. Appointment duration estimates are approximate and depend on individual needs. For adolescents or young adults, certain portions are sometimes combined or altered as appropriate.
1. Parent interview, 1-2 hrs.
2. School Observation (optional & age dependent, usually ~2 hours divided into shorter blocks)
3. Child interview and exam 1 hr.
4. Discussion: results and plan of care, 1-2 hrs.
